Why Herndon?

Herndon is a community that increasingly reflects the gathering of nations. This is the place and the people we believe God has called us to love and serve in the name of Jesus by practicing his peace, extending his grace, and proclaiming his justice in word and deed. Our hope for Herndon is rooted in the fact that, in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God has dealt with humanity’s deepest problem.

Our vision for what we hope to become by God’s grace:

We aspire to be a vital, biblically faithful worshiping community gathered from diverse cultural backgrounds and united in our common need of God’s grace, our common witness to His transforming power in our lives, and our common commitment to glorifying and enjoying Him in our life together.

In an effort to reflect the cultural diversity of our location, as well as our conviction in the gospel’s power to speak unchanging truth into our ever-changing cultural moment, our congregation worships in two languages.  Follow this link for more information about our Chinese Speaking Ministry.
